I’m Thrive&Joy, a qualified Early Years Educator, experienced Family Support Worker, and, most importantly, a mother. With a deep passion for nurturing young minds and supporting families, I’ve dedicated my career and personal life to creating environments where children can thrive, and parents feel empowered.
My Journey
My professional journey began with a strong belief in the power of early education. I pursued my qualifications as an Early Years Educator to ensure I could provide the best learning opportunities for children during their most formative years. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, from early childhood centres, primary education to one-on-one family support, where I’ve had the privilege of guiding children and families through different stages of development and achieving better outcomes.
Being a mother myself, I understand the joys, challenges, and complexities of raising children. This personal experience has profoundly shaped my approach to education and family support. It has given me empathy and a hands-on perspective, allowing me to connect with families on a deeper level.
My Approach
As an Early Years Educator, I believe that every child is unique, with their own set of strengths, interests, and challenges. My approach focuses on fostering a love for learning through play, exploration, and positive reinforcement. I emphasise social-emotional development alongside academic growth, ensuring children feel confident and ready to face the world.
In my role as a Family Support Worker, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of families, helping them navigate the ups and downs of parenthood. Whether it’s providing practical advice, emotional support, or connecting families to essential resources, my goal is always to empower parents to feel confident in their parenting journey.
Why I Do What I Do
There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s eyes light up when they learn something new or watching a family overcome a challenge with newfound confidence. Being part of these moments, both big and small, is what drives me every day. I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing spaces for children and offering parents the support they need to feel equipped and empowered.
